• “What am I to do?” Do you have a tendency to feel stressed as you think about all the possibilities? Once you finally made a decision, do you then wonder if you made the right choice?

If you are like me, you weigh everything, see both sides, and find it difficult to make decisions. For my sanity and reduction of stress that causes dis-ease, I fortunately discovered a better way. I call it Intuitive Problem Solving.

Everyone is intuitive and has the ability to tap into this 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year round (even on holidays) free consultation.

Intuition is the wise part of us that has all of our answers. How convenient it is to innately have this valuable resource.
Creativity is one way we tap into our intuition. To solve a problem, you can first write it down as a question, and then “brainstorm” all the answers that come to you without thinking. Sometimes the funniest, strangest creative ideas turn out to be the most brilliant solutions.
For example, if you feel tired or overwhelmed, your issue may be that you are working too much. The question can be, “How can I balance my life?” Some answers may be to play on Saturdays, plan a vacation every 3 months, or hire help. After you have written down all of your options, cross off the ones that you do not choose to do. Then take the necessary actions to carry out your solutions.

The following are four other ways to connect with this “wise service”. Everyone has at least one dominant method and a secondary one. See if you can identify your natural strength of your sixth sense.
If you are clairvoyant, you are visual or “see” things or people with your minds eye. Clairaudient means that you hear things that are not on the physical plane. You are clairsentient if you have a gut feeling of something being appropriate or not. Finally, you are Telepathic if you have a knowing of something.

No matter which mode you have of receiving your intuitive messages, they are all equally valid. Your intuition offers you very important information. There are many stories of people’s lives being saved, as well as problems prevented or solved because they listened to and acted on their intuition.

If it is so valuable, why do so many people disown this part of them? Our society mainly values our thinking minds–left part of the brain–and requires physical, logical proof. Intuition is in the right part of the brain and is metaphysical—beyond the physical. Like feelings, it is not based on logic. Therefore, it can be more difficult to accept. However, that does not mean that it is any less valuable.

In fact, intuition is wiser than the mind. That is because the mind only knows what it learned and bases information on the basic five senses. Wisdom comes from beyond thoughts and physical perceptions. You can give people information, but you cannot teach wisdom which comes from an inner source– your intuition.

You can learn how to listen to your inner messages and tap into your wisdom. There are many ways to do that. However, they have some common guidelines.

The first important process is to overcome any fears you have of the situation. For example, if you want to purchase a house you may be concerned that it is the only house you will be happy in. You can let go of that limiting belief by saying, “I release the fear that this is the only right house for me.” Follow that with, ”I trust that if this house is right for me, I will be able to purchase it. Otherwise there will be another one which is better for me.”

Then it is helpful to let go of any attachments your mind or emotions may have to the house by saying, “I am not attached to the answer. I know and trust that the perfect house is available to me at the perfect time.”

The next step is to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then tap into your intuitive messages by asking, “Is it for my highest good to purchase this house now?” Once you receive your answer, have the courage to act on it.

I personally often wait until the morning when I first awaken to check in with my intuition. That is because my logical mind has not “kicked in” yet as I am still in that semi-conscious state.

If I need to make an important decision, I will check in with my intuition for a few days. If I am facing a crucial issue, I am likely to contact an intuitive friend who has no emotional charge on the issue for a more objective answer. It is even fun to get a few intuitive opinions to see what happens.

Another way I connect with my inner wisdom is through kinesiology– muscle testing. The general rule here is that a strong muscle means, “yes” and a weak one means “no”. For example, you can have someone try to push your outstretched arm down as you say a question out loud.

Finally, I pay attention to the center of my chest as I ask my question. If my chest feels tight, I know that it is a negative answer. An expansion tells me “yes”.

The more you practice listening to your intuition, the easier it becomes. Have fun with it. For example, when I awaken in the morning, I guess what time it is before I open my eyes. When the telephone rings, I sometimes tune in to my intuition to find out who is calling.

I suggest that you value and trust your inner wisdom, no matter what other people say or do. Choose an easier way to resolve your problems—your intuition.

  • Our spirit guides are entities that are no longer (or have not been) part of the physical realm. Guides posses knowledge that can greatly aid us in our journey through life. Not only can they aid us, but they can also provide companionship when we are not sure where to turn. Our guides are always waiting to contact us, and likely you have already spoken with your guide (we actually have potentially many guides), but were not aware of it. Our guides are waiting for us to initiate a contact so we can have an open communication with them. The following introduction will get you started.

Sit down, preferably at the end of your bed or against a wall, back straight feet pulled up near your chest but relaxed and feet flat on your floor, head up but not right against the wall. Personally I like to sit up when I meditate. With the top of the head facing the heavens the crown chakra is unobstructed. If you do prefer lying down, that is fine.

Imagine tree roots coming out of your feet and extending down into the ground. These roots continue to burrow into the ground almost to the earths mantle. Use whatever visualization works, as long you envision roots going from the soles of your bare feet deep into the earth. Those roots then branch out, rooting you to the earth. Then envision another root coming out of your tail bone and also burrowing into the ground, same as above, and rooting you into the ground.

Now imagine green light coming up from the earth through these roots as you breath in, filling your pelvis with green light on each breath in. As you exhale imagine this green light moving up your spine and out the top of your head. Do this for about 20 breaths.

Next imagine gold light coming from above into the top of your head with each deep inhale. The gold light moves through your body along the spine and out your feet into the earth on each exhale. Do this also for about 20 deep breathes.

Then imagine on each inhale gold light coming into your head and going to your pelvis and green light coming up through your roots also to your pelvis. Then, as you exhale push this green-gold light up your spine out the top of your head. Do this at least 15 times.

Then imagine a big gold egg shape – about the size of a phone booth. Step into this egg. This gold shell creates a protective aura around us. Imagine for a moment this egg is a totally positive ball of energy that protects you and nourishes you.

Make sure you do all of the above before trying to communicate!

Now that you have done this you should be feeling very relaxed, and like you don’t want to open your eyes, but you can if you want.

Say in a quiet voice that “I am willing, able and ready to meet a spirit guide.” Say that “I want to speak with my spirit guide and I seek their counsel.”

Talk with your guide, and at the end thank them. Ask them also if there are any other guides that you should speak with.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: You may hear a physical voice but likely not. He/She will speak to you in your mind. Some guides are easier to hear than others. If you are having trouble communicating with the first guide that presents itself, ask for another and give your reason. The guide will not be offended. After doing the meditation most of your conscious thoughts will have subsided, but a few will flutter back into your head. Just push them aside and try to listen to with to your guide.

You may feel at first like it is just a trick of your mind but you will soon realize that it is not…he/she will say things that you know are not your own thoughts. Also, we generally think in our own voice, so having a different voice in your mind will make it easy to see you are not just talking with yourself.

Every time I talk with a spirit guide or angel I am left with this amazing feeling of being filled with “tingly” energy, almost like the butterflies we get when we are around someone we love. It is a completely positive experience.
